How it began

Our Story

It was a rainy Thursday evening at a mutual friend's dinner party when Wimpie and Shannon first met. He was late — she had already claimed the best seat. Their eyes met across a bowl of bread rolls and the rest, as they say, is history.

Over the following months, long walks became longer conversations, coffee dates stretched into evenings, and one perfectly ordinary Tuesday turned into the best day of their lives when James got down on one knee at their favourite little beach cove.

Two years, one puppy, and approximately 400 shared meals later, they are ready to make it official in front of everyone they love.

Questions & Answers

• Is there parking at the venue? +
  Yes, there is ample free parking on site. We do encourage carpooling and ask that you arrange a designated driver if you plan to enjoy the cash bar.
• What's the dress code? +
  Semi-formal. We'd love guests to embrace the colour palette — soft coral, peach, french blue and navy are welcome. Please avoid white and ivory. The ceremony will be outdoors.
• Can I take Photos during the ceremony? +
  We're having an unplugged ceremony — so please put phones away and enjoy the moment with us. Our photographer will capture everything beautifully. After the ceremony, snap away!
• What time should I arrive? +
  Guests are welcome from ??:?? PM. The ceremony will begin promptly at ??:?? PM — we kindly ask that you're seated at least 10 minutes before. Late arrivals will be asked to wait until the processional is complete.
• Will there be a cash bar? +
  Yes there will be a cash bar, please feel free to bring your cash or card.
